Chap. 105.—An ACT authorizing the trustees of the Presbyterian
church of Martinsville, Henry county, to sell and purchase property.
Approved February 14, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the trustees of the Presbyterian church of the town of Mar-
tinsville, of the county of Henry, are hereby authorized to
sell any real estate heretofore conveyed to them or their suc-
ceasors, or which may hereafter be conveyed to them or their
successors, as trustees for said church, and to re-invest the
roceeds of such sale in other property, and such property
shall be held upon the same trusts, and for the same purposes
and uses, as the property sold was held upon.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
Chap. 105.—An ACT to appropriate ten thousand dollars to pay com-
mutation to maimed soldiers.
Approved April 22, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the sum of
ten thousand dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated
from any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated,
to pay commutation to maimed soldiers who have received
nothing from previous appropriations.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
