CHAP. 42.—An AOT authorizing the trustees of the Methodist Epis-
copal Church, South, of Doe IJIill, Highland county, to dispose of
real estate belonging to said society, the proceeds to be applied to
the improvement of said church property.

Whereas the trustees and congregation of the Methodist Epis-
copal church, south, of Doe Hill, Highland county, Virginia,
known as the Doe Hill meeting-house, desire to make sale of
three small parcels of land belonging to the real estate of said
congregation ; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the trustees of the Methodist Episcopal church, south, at Doe
Hill, Virginia, known as the Doe Hill meeting-house, have
power to sell. or lease and convev such sma] parcels of the
real estate of said church property as in the judgment of said
trustees will best promote the interests of said congregation.
The proceeds of sale to be applied to the improvement of that
church property by the said trustees.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
