CHAP. 106.—An ACT to incorporate the Trustees of the United
Brethren in Christ, Dayton, Rockingham county.
Approved April 2, 1879.
1. Be it enaeted by the general assembly, That Solomon
Burtner, A, P. Funkhouser, and C. W. Steinespring, and their
successors in office, be and they are hereby declared to be a
body politic and corporate, with perpetual succession, under
the style of The Trustees of the Church Property of the United
Brethren in Christ ; and in such name to sue and be sued, plead
and be impleaded, to acquire, hold and convey property that
may be deemed best for the congregation located at Dayton
and for Dayton circuit, and fo enact such by-laws and regula-
tions as shall best protect their property: provided that such
by-laws and regulations are not inconsistent with the laws of
the United States and of this state.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
