Chap. 73.—An ACT for the relief of C. H. Ingles, treasurer of
Henry county.

Whereas C. H. Ingles, treasurer of Henry county, has in his
hands various tickets for taxes and levies, both state and
county, for the years eighteen hundred and seventy-seven and
eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, and said tickets, amount-
ing to about five thousand dollars, remain uncollected ; there-
fore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
authority is hereby given to said C. H. Ingles, treasurer as
aforesaid, to collect the amount due upon said tickets for taxes
and levies ; and he shall have the same power of levy and distress
for the same that he now possesses under the present revenue
laws, after the first of March of each year, and that this power
be extended for one year from the first day of July, eighteen
hundred and eighty.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
