CHAP. 5.—An ACT fixing the time for holding the circuit courts in
the sixteenth judicial circuit.

Approved December 19, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the circuit courts for the several counties composing the six-
teenth judicial circuit shall be held at the following times,
to-wit : .

Buchanan—First Monday in June and the Tuesday after the
last Monday in October of each year.

Russell—Second Monday in March and August and the first
Monday in November.

Scott—Third Monday in March, August and November.

Lee—Tuesday after the fourth Monday in March and August.

Wise—Second Monday after the fourth Monday in March
and August.

Smyth—Third Monday in April and September.

Washington—First Monday in May, October and January.

2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are
hereby repealed.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
