CHAP. 42.—An ACT for the sale and reinvestment of church property
and the appointment of trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church
for Mount Tabor church, in Montgomery county.
Approved February 4, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Joseph H.
Christman, Charles Carden, James Miller and A. H. Flan-
aghan be appointed trustees to sell and convey the lot of
land and old church building lying near Christman’s mill,
in Montgomery county, known as Mount Tabor church, and
be empowered to reinvest the proceeds in the purchase of
another lot of land and in the construction of a church on said
lot, and to retain the name of Mount Tabor church when con-
structed; the said old church lot and old church building and
new church building and lot being the property, when pur-
chased and constructed, of the Methodist Episcopal church.
2. This act shall be in force from and after its passage.
