Chap. 33.—An ACT to authorize James II. Fletcher to erect a wharf
on his lands on Pokomoke river in the county of Accomac.
Approved February 2, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
James H. Fletcher, of the county of Accomac, be and he is
hereby authorized and permitted to erect a wharf upon his
land at Pitt?’s Neck on the Pocomoke river in the county of
Accomac; and that the said James H. Fletcher, his heirs and
assigns shall have the right to charge and recover such fees as
a compensation for the use of the wharf as may have been
agreed upon by and between the parties, or as are usual: pro-
vided, that said wharf shall not obstruct the navigation of said
river more than is necessary to give a good landing to such
boats and vessels as trade theréin: and provided also, that this
act shall at all times be under the control of the general
assembly, and may be amended or repealed as may be deemed
proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
