CHAP. 291.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to
enable the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield county to assist the
Manchester Free-Bridge Commissioners in keeping the Free Bridge
in repair, approved February 1, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That an act entitled
an act to enable the board of supervisors of Chesterfield county
to assist the Manchester free bridge commissioners in keeping
the free bridge in repair, approved February first, eighteen
hundred and seventy-nine, be amended and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:

§ 1. Be it enacted by the gencral assembly, That the board
of supervisors of Chesterfield county may, at any time, appro-
priate to the Manchester and Richmond free bridge commis-
sioners whatever sum the said board may deem proper and
equitable, for the purpose of assisting the said commissioners
in keeping the free bridge in repair.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
