CHAP. 289.—An ACT to authorize the trustees of Thorn Spring
Church and of New Salem Church, in the county of Pulaski, to
sell the church property.
Approved March 9, 1860.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the trustees
or their survivors of Thorn Spring church, known as Thorn
Spring camp-ground, located in Pulaski county, Virginia, the
property of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, be author-
ized and empowered to sell and convey the aforesaid property
conveyed to the said trustees by Henry Patton, deceased, by
deed bearing date the third day of April, eighteen hundred and
forty-one.
2. And be it further enacted, That the trustees or their sur-
vivors of New Salem church, located in Pulaski county, Vir-
ginia, the property of the Methodist Episcopal Church South,
be authorized and empowered to sell and convey the aforesaid
property conveyed to the said trustees by Samuel Covey, de-
ceased, by deed bearing date the thirteenth day of March,
eighteen hundred and twenty-three. _
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
