CHAP. 288.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 58, chapter 8,
Code of 1873, with reference to pay of Commissioners of Election.

Approved March 9, 1880.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of, Virginia, That
section fifty-eight of chapter eight, Code of eighteen hundred
and seventy-three, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as
follows :

§ 58. The commissioners of any election, held in like man-
ner, shall each receive as compensation for -his services the
sum of one dollar, to be paid out of the treasury of the ‘oounty
or corporation in which the election is held.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
