CHAP. 255.—An ACT to pay to P. L. W. Thornton, of Prince William
county, the sun of fifteen dollars and sixty-six cents.
Approved March 9, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the auditor
of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized to pay to P.
L.. W. Thornton, of Prince William county, the sum of fifteen
dollars and sixty-six cents out of any funds in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated, being the amount actually expended by
him in obeying a summons before the grand jury of Rocking-
ham county to testify before the grand jury of said county on
behalf of the commonwealth versus Henry Wilson, charged with
a felony.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
