CHAP. 226.—An ACT to authorize the Board of Supervisors of the
county of Greensville to issue bonds to build a bridge.

Approved March 8, 1880.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of the county of Greensville be and
they are hereby authorized to issue bonds to an amount not
exceeding five thousand dollars, said bonds to bear a rate of
interest not exceeding six per centum per annum, to be exclu-
sively applied to the erection of a bridge across the Meherrin
river, connecting Hicksford and Belfield in said county; the
bridge over the above river having been recently destroyed by
fire.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
