CHAP. 194.—An ACT to change the boundary line between the
counties of Giles and Craig.
Approved February 25, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the boundary line between the counties of Craig and Giles be
so changed as to transfer the lands of William Leffle and Peter
A. Camper, lying along said line, from the county of Craig to
the county of Giles.
2. It shall be lawful for the sheriff, treasurer or any consta-
ble or other officer of the county of Craig, to collect by due
legal process any and all taxes, clerk’s fees, sheriff’s fees, or
fees due any public officer, which may remain unpaid by the
inhabitants of that part of Craig which will be within and
form a part of the county of Giles when this act shall com-
mence and be in force.
3. It shall be lawful for the sheriff, or any constable of the
county of Craig, to execute upon any inhabitant of that part
of Craig hereby made a part of Giles, any unexecuted or any
unperfected’ process or writ of law which emanated or issued
from said county of Craig before the passage of this act.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
