CHAP. 17.—JOINT RESOLUTION appropriating fifteen handred
dollars to enable the governor to enforce the oyster Jaws in the
waters of the Rappahannock river.
Approved January 24, 1880.
1. Resolved by the House of Delegates (the Senate concur-
ring), That the governer be and he is hereby authorized and
requested to take such immediate measures as he may think
proper for the enforcement of the oyster laws in the waters of
the Rappahannock river; and for this purpose the sum of fif-
teen hundred dollars is hereby appropriated to defray any
expense incurred in the execution of this resolution.
2. This joint resolution shall take effect from its passage.
