CHAP. 16.—An ACT to authorize the judge of the eleventh circuit to
hold special terms of the courts in his circuit.
Approved January 24, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the judge of the eleventh judicial circuit be and he is hereby
authorized to hold, in such manner as is now prescribed, special
terms of his court in any county of the said circuit when in
his opinion it is proper that the same should be held. At any
such special term any civil cause or matter at law or in chancery
may be heard and determined which could have been heard and
determined if the same had been a regular term.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage, and expire on
the first day of January, eighteen hundred and eighty-one.
