CHAP. 107.—An ACT to authorize the trustess of the church of Dis
ciples of Christ, of Norfolk, Virginia, to execute one or more deeds
of trust or mortgages thereon as security.
Approved February 27, 1880.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of the state of
Virginia, That E. T. Powell, John F. East and J. G. Wallace,
or their successors, trustees of the church of the Disciples of
Christ, of the city of Norfolk, Virginia, situated on the north
side of Freemason street in said city, and bounded on the east
by the property of William T. Harrison and on the west by
the property of Eliza D. Santos, are hereby authorized and
empowered to borrow a sum of money not exceeding three
thousand dollars, and to execute one or more deeds of trust or
mortgages upon the said church property for the purpose of
such loan or loans.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
