CHAP. 52.—An ACT authorizing the use of district school funds for
the payment of teachers.

Approved January 25, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That until August
first, eighteen hundred and eighty, it shall be lawful for the
school board of any school district, where a sufficient number
of school-houses have been built in said district, to make use
of so much of the district school money for the payment of
teachers as in its judgment the educational interests of the
district may seem to demand.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
