tend the time for the conference with the public creditors.

Resolved (the House of Delegates concurring), That the gov-
ernor be authorized, if in his opinion the day fixed in the joint
resolution for a conference with the public creditors be too near
at hand for the attendance of many of them. to name a subse-
quent time for that purpose, and not exceeding, however, ten
days from the twenty-second January, eighteen hundred and
seventy-nine.
