Meem from payment of district road tax in Shenandoah county,
Approved March 3, 1879
Whereas Gilbert S. Meem, of the county of Shenandoah, has
erected a bridge over the Shenandoah river, on his property, at
his individual expense, said bridge costing a large sum of money ;
and whereas said bridge is used by the public generally ; there-
fore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the county court of Shenandoah be authorized to release said
Gilbert S. Meem from payment of the district road tax in said
county, imposing such conditions in regard to the use of said
bridge a3 may seem proper if suth tax is released.
2. This act shali be in foree from its passage.
