Chap. 230.—An ACT for the relief of A. W. Houchins, late deputy
treasurer of Patrick county,
Approved March 3, 1879.
, LL. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That A. W. Llouch-
ins, late deputy treasurer of Patrick county, be allowed until the
first day of January, eighteen handred and eighty, to collect
the unpaid portion of his tax-tickets due for the years eighteen
hundred and seventy-five, eighteen hundred and seventy-six,
and eighteen hundred and seventy-seven ; and that he shall have
the same power to collect the same as he had in eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-five, eighteen hundred and seventy-six, and
eighteen hundred and seventy-seven, but nothing in this act
shali be so construed as to change, alter or modify, in any way
or degree, the obligation said A. W. Houchins and his sureties
on his official bond, as deputy treasurer of said county, may
be under by means of said bonds on account of the non-collec-
tion or delay in the collection of said unpaid tax-tickets for
said years of eighteen hundred and seventy-five, cighteen hun-
dred and seventy-six, and eighteen hundred seventy-seven:
provided that the consent of the sureties of the said A. W.
Houchins shall be obtained before this act takes effect.
