Chap. 23.--An ACT for the relief of Thomas L. Jones, of Hanover
county.

Approved January 14, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
whereas Thomas L. Jones, late collector of Beaver Dam town-
ship, in the county of Hanover, has discharged the payment of
the principal, legal interest, and costs of collection of all sums
due by him to the state, county, or township aforesaid, that the
said Thomas L. Jones is hereby relieved from all damages and
excess of interest on account of said default.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
