Chap. 224.~-An ACT to authorize the principal of the High School
of Jeffersonville, Virginia, to confer certificates of distinction,

Approved March 8, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of the state of
Virginia, That the principal of the Tazewell high school, situ-
ate in the town of Jelfersonville, Tazewell county, shall have
power to confer such certificates of proficiency and distinction
as he may think best to promote the cause of education.
