Chap. 203.-An ACT declaring Meherrin river, North Meherrin river,
South Meherrin river, and Middle Meuerrin river, respectively, a law-
ful fence.
Approved March 3, 1879.
1, Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Meherrin river, North Meberrin river, South Meherrin river,
and Middle Meherrin river, in the county of Lunenburg, be and
they are hereby declared to be a lawful fence, respectively, be-
tween certain points, as follows, to-wit: Meherrin river from
the Lunenburg county line up to the confluence of the North
and South Meherrin rivers, the North Meherrin river from its
mouth up to the mouth of Meadow branch, South Meherrin
river from its mouth up to Rocky mills, and Middle Meherrin
river from its mouth up to what was formerly Brage’s mill on
said river.
2. The act approved February twentieth, eighteen hundred
and seventy-eight, entitled an act declaring the Meherrin river
a lawful fence in certain portions of Lunenburg county, and
ali acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act, are hereby
repealed.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
