Chap. 195.—An ACT for the relief of James K. Lowry, late collector
of Goodson township, in the county of Washington.
Approved March 3, 1879.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That James K.
Lowry, late collector of Goodson township, in the county of
Washington, be allowed until the first day of December, eigh-
teen hundred and seventy-nine, to collect the unpaid portion of
his tax tickets due for the years eighteen hundred and seventy-
one and eighteen hundred and seventy-two; and that he shall
have the same power to collect the same as he had in eighteen
hundred and seventy-one and eighteen hundred and seventy-
two; but nothing in this act shall be so construed as to change,
alter, or modify in any way or degree the obligation said
James K. Lowry, and his sureties on his official bond, as collec-
tor of said township, may be under by means of said bond on
account of the non-collection of said unpaid tax tickets for
said years of cighteen hundred and seventy-one and eighteen
hundred and seventy-two: provided that before this act shall
take effect the consent of the sureties of said James K. Lowry
on his oiticial bond shall be obtaine?.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
