Chap. 167.—An ACT for the removal of the disabilities of James
Barbour, of Culpeper, and others.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia (two-
thirds of both houses concurring), That the disabilities of
James Barbour, of Culpeper; William L. Royall, of Rich-
mond; William R. Trigg and James V. Reddy, of Richmond;
Alexander D. Payne and John §S. Mosby, of Fauquier; John
S. Meredith, W. Page McCarty, and J. 8S. D. Cullen, of Rich-
mond city; John Wise and Frederick C. A. Kellam, Junior, of
Accomac; J. A. Hi. St. Andrew, of Prinee Edward; E. C.
Venable, of Petersburg; and KE. M. Lowe, of Fairfax, incurred
under clause three of section one of article three of the con-
stitution of Virginia, with reference to duelling, be and the
same are hereby removed.
2. ‘This act shall be in force from its passage.
