CHAP. 160.—An ACT for the relief of Richard Crenshaw and C.
Pate, of Bedford county, Virginia,
Approved February 27, 1879.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Richard Crenshaw and his surety, C. Pate, both of Bedford, be
and they are herehy relieved and released from all further obli-
gation of every kind on account of a bond executed by him to
the board of directors of the Western lunatic asylum for the
support and maintenance at said institution, after his majority,
of Samuel C. Crenshaw, as a lunatic, and from the payment of
all and every unpaid instalment due or to become due under
the requirements of said bond: provided, however, that this
relief is granted and accepted with the distinct understanding
that there shall be no demand or Liability upon the state or the
Western lunatic asylum for any amounts already paid by the
said Crenshaw.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
