CHAP. 159.—An ACT authorizing the trustees of Bethel Methodist
Episcopal Chureh, South, in Westinoreland counts, to sell and pur-
chase church property.

Approved February 27, 1679.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virzinia. That
the trustees of Bethel Methodist Episcopal church, south, in
the county of Westmoreland, are hereby authorized to sell any
real estate heretolore conveyed to them or thsir predecessors,
or which may hereafter be couveyed to them or their succes.ors,
as trustees for said church, and to reinvest fhe proceeds of such
sale in other property, and such property shail be held upon
the same trusts, and for the same purposes and uses. as tie
property sold was held upon.

2. Pris act shall be in force from its passage.
