Chap. 41.—An ACT for the relief of Gideon W. Jones, of Warren
county.
Approved January 29, 1878.
1. Be it enacted by the yvencral assembly, That the audi-
tor of public accounts be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to issue his warrant on the treasury, payable out of
any money not otherwise appropriated, in favor of Gideon
W. Jones, for the sum of twelve dollars and sixty-three cents,
on account of land tax improperly and erroneously assessed
against him upon a lot, (donated by said Jones in eighteen
hundred and seventy-four, to trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal church, south, for the erection thereon of a par-
sonage for the preacher in charge of Front Royal station),
and paid by him in lawful money for the years eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-five, eighteen hundred and seventy-six, and
eighteen hundred and seventy-seven.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
