Chap. 33.—An ACT to amend section 7 of chapter 157 of the Code of
Virginia, so as to fix the place of holding the circuit court of Henrico
county.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section seven of chapter one hundred and. fifty-seven of the
Code of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§7. The circuit court for the county of Henrico shall sit
at the courthouse of said county; the circuit court of Spot-
aylvania county may sit at the courthouse thereof, or at the
courthouse in Fredericksburg, in conformity with the laws
now in force. very other circuit, county, or corporation
court for any county or corporation, shall be held at the
courthouse of such county or corporation, except where
some other place is prescribed by law, or lawfully appointed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
