Chap. 31.—An ACT for the relief of Joseph Riggs, late collector of
Metompkin township, county of Accomack.
Approved January 29, 1878.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby author-
ized and directed to issue his warrant on the treasury, pay-
able out of any money not otherwise appropriated, in favor
of Joseph Riggs, for the sum of seventy-three dollars and
twenty-five cents on account of commissions on taxes collec-
ted by him as collector for Metompkin townsbip, in the county
of Accomack, for the vear eighteen hundred and seventy-four.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
