Chap. 287.—An ACT to relieve N. H. Campbell, of the county of
Amherst, from a fine.

Approved March 14, 1878.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
a fine of two bundred dollars, recovered against N. H. Camp-
bell, in the county court of Amherst county, by the common-
wealth, on the trial of an indictment for an assault, be and
the same is hereby released: provided that nothing con-
tained in this act shall be so construed as to release the said
Campbell from any costs of said trial.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
