Chap. 230.—JOINT RESOLUTION extending the time for the
appointment by the governor of samplers of tobacco.

Approved March 12, 1878.

Whereas the governor of Virginia is required by law to
appoint samplers of tobacco for public warehouses during
the months of January or February; and whereas other
pressing dutics now absorb the attention of the governor;
therefore,

Resolved by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
time for the appointment of sai@® samplers of tobacco is
hereby extended until the governor can make such appoint-
ment without conflict with his other official duties,
