Chap. 205.—An ACT to compensate John A. Ashby for the capture of
an escaped penitentiary convict.
Approved March 12, 1878.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly, That the auditor
of public accounts be directed to issue his warrant on the
treasurer, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated, for the sum of thirty dollars, in favor
of John A. Ashby, for the capture of William Nelson, alias
William N. Watkins, an escaped convict.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
