Chap. 194.—An ACT to authorize the trustees of Conquest and QGuil-
ford’s Circuit Parsonage property to borrow money.
Approved March 12, 1878.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the trustees of parsonage property, situated in the village of
Temperanceville, in the county of Accomac, belongin;: to the
Conquest and Guilford circuit of the Methodist Episcopal
church, South, be and they are hereby authorized to borrow
a sum of money, not exceeding six hundred dollars, to be
applied in payment of the sum due or to become due to Con-
quest and Guilford circuit in said county; and to enable
them to do so, the said trustees are authorized and empow-
ered to convey said parsonage property, by mortgage or
otherwise, for the purpose of securing payment of the money
thus borrowed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
