Chap. 168.—An ACT for the relief of the sureties of W. W. Sage,
late sheriff of Lee county.

Approved March 7, 1878.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the sure-
ties of W. W. Sage, late sheriff of Lee county, be and they
are hereby released from the payment of the excess of inter-
est over 81x per centum, and the damages on two judgments
in favor of the commonwealth against them and the said
Sage in the circuit court of the city of Richmond.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
