Chap. 159.—An ACT to regulate prices and expenditures in regard to
the working of roads in the county of Floyd.
Approved March 6, 1878.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That on and
after the passage of this act, each overscer of roads in the
county of Floyd shall be allowed fifty cents for cach day be
may be necessarily employed in warning the hands to work
on the publie roads, bat shall receive no other compensation
for bis services as overseer.
2. For all tools and teams impressed by bim for public
road services, he shall allow the following prices per day:
For cach wagon and yoke of oxen, one doliar; for each
wagon and pair of horses, one dollar and fifty cents; for each
three-horse wagon and team of three horses, two dollars ;
for each four-horse wazon and team of four horses, two dol-
lars and fifty cents.
3. All other acts, and parts of acts, of the general road
Jaw, or otherwise inconsistent with this act, are hereby
repealed as to the county of Floyd.
