Chap. 157.—An ACT to authorize the trustees of the Oregon Metho-
dist Episcopal Church, South, of Richmond, Virginia, to borrow
moncy, and execute decds of trust to secure the same.

Approved March 6, 1878.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the trus-
tees of the Oregon Methodist Episcopal Church, South, of
Richmond, Virginia, be and they are hereby authorized to
sell any real estate belonging to said church, and to invest
the proceeds derived from such sale in other real estate; and
they are hereby authorized to borrow money for the said
church, at a rate of interest not to exceed ten per centum,
and to execute a deed or deeds of trust on any property, real
or personal, belonging to the said church to secure the same.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
