Chap. 135.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 8 of an act con-
cerning the town of Wytheville, in Wythe county, passed February
21st, 1808.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the eighth
section of an act entitled an act concerning the town of
Wytheville, Wythe county, passed February twenty-one,
eighteen hundred and fifty-three, bo amended and re enacted
so as to read as follows:

§ 8. No license shall be granted to any person to keep a
house of entertainment in the town of Wytheville, in the
county of Wythe, or within one mile of said town, or to sell
by retail within the said town, or one mile thereof, wine,
ardent spirits, or a mixture thereof, except under the provi-
sions of general laws upon such subjects. .

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. |
