Chap. 133.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the fifth section of an act
to incorporate the Virginia Manganese Company, passed January
, Ath, 1867.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the fifth section of an act, passed January seventeenth, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-seven, entitled an act to incorporate
the Virginia manganese company, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
§5. That it shall be lawful and right for the company to
establish the necessary offices for their works, where such
works may be located, and have their principal office either
at Baltimore, Maryland, or at Charlottesville, Virginia, and
if deemed expedient, branch offices in New York, Baltimore,
and Charlottesville; at which branch offices, as well as prin-
cipal office, general or special meetings may be had.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
