Chap. 106.—An ACT to authorize George G. Tyler to erect a boom in
the Mattaponi river.

Approved February 22, 1878.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
George G. Tyler be and he is hereby authorized to erect a
boom in Mattaponi river, at a point above Dunkirk, on said
river, for the purpose of stopping and forming into rafts, logs
floated down said river, to be conveyed to and sawed at his
mill: provided, nevertheless, that such -boom shall not ob-
struct navigation on said river.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
