Chap. 51.—An ACT to authorize Joseph T. Kenny to erect a wharf
upon his land on Chincoteague island.
Approved February 6, 1877.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Joseph T. Kenny, of the county of Accomack, be and he is
hereby authorized and permitted to erect a wharf upon his
land on Chincoteague island, in said county, with a water
front of one hundred and twelve fect or less, extending thirty
feet or less, from low water mark into Chincoteague channel;
and that the said Joseph T. Kinny, his heirs and assigns,
shall have the right to charge and recover such fees as a com-
pensation for the use of said wharf, as may have been agreed
upon by and between the parties, or as are usual: provided
that this act shall at all times be under the control of the
gencral assembly, and may be amended or repealed as may
bs deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
