Chap. 342.—An ACT imposing a fine on any person, corporation, aid
so forth, sending tobacco to any warehouse other than that to whicu
it is marked by the owner or his agent.

1. Beit enacted by the gencral assembly, That any person,
corporation, warehouse, steam or canal boat, commission
merchant, broker or factor, sending the tobaccoof any planter
or other person to any warchouse other than to the house to
which it is marked by the-owner or his agent, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, be
fined not less than twenty dollars nor more than fifty doilurs
on each package so sent.

2. This act shall be in force trom its passage.
