Resolved (the House of Delegates concurring), That his
excellency the governor, be authorized and -requested to ap-
point seven commissioners to represent the state’s interest
at the Exposition Universelle, to be held in Paris, France,
in the year 1878: provided however, that the persons who
may be so appointed shall have no claim upon the state for
compensation or expenses.
