Chap. 320.—JOINT RESOLUTION authorizing the attorney-general
to proceed aguinst commissioners of sinking fund for the defalcation
in 1873-74.

Resolved (the house of delegates concurring,) That the
. attorney-general be and he is hereby directed, to take such
steps as, in his judgment, as the law officer of the state, are
proper and necessary to reimburse the state for the loss in-
curred by the defalcation in the sinking fund in 1873-74;
and that said attorney-general do report to the next session
of the general assembly what action he bas taken in the
premises, and his reasons therefor.
