Chap. 319.—JOINT RESOLUTION requesting the Roanoke naviga-
tion company to report certain information to the next general as-
sembly.

Approved April 4, 1877.

Resolved (the House of Delegates concurring), That the
directors of the Roanoke navigation company be requested
to inform the general assembly, at the next session thereof,
of the condition of tho works of said company; the amounts
annually expended io the improvement of said works since
their construction was completed; what portion of their said
works and line of navigation has been abandoned by said
company; whether tolls are charged on such part of said
works and line as has been abandoned, and what improve-
ments are intended by said company.
