Chap. 306.—An ACT to authorize the supervisors of Norfolk county,
to make an allowance to the clerk of the circuit court of said county,
from the treasury thereof, for services rendered by him.
Approved April 2, 1877.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the board of supervisors of Norfolk
county, to cause to be paid from the treasury of said county,
to the clerk of the circuit court of said county, such an
amount as the judge of the said circuit court shall certify, as
a just allowance for the services rendered by said clerk to
the commonwealth and said county: provided, however, that
such allowance shall not exceed the sum of two hundred and
fifty dollars for any one year.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
