Chap. 248.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the first section of chapter
14 0f the Code of 1873, as amended by an act approved April 15th,
1874, entitled an act to amend and re-enact section 1 of chapter
14 of the Code of 18738, in relation to the meeting of the general as-
sembly.

Approved March 29, 1877.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the first
section of chapter fourteen of the Code, edition of eighteen
bundred and seventy-three, as amended by an act approved
April fifteenth, eighteen hundred and seventy-four, entitled
an act to amend and re-enact section one of chapter fourteen
of the Code of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, in rela-
tion to the meeting of the general assembly, be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 1. The general assembly shall meet on the first Wednes-
day in December, eighteen hundred and seventy-seven, and
every two years thereafter. It shall sit at the capitol in the
city of Richmond, but may adjourn to any other place. —»

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
