Chap. 215.—An ACT to authorize the town council of Falls Church,
Fairfax county, to take charge of that portion of the Fairfax and
Georgetown turnpike lying within the corporate limits of said town.

Approved March 29, 1877.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That that portion
of the Fairfax and Georgetown turnpike, lying within the
corporate limits of the town of Falls Church, Fairfax county,
be and the same is hereby declared to be abandoned, and the
council of said town is hereby authorized and empowered to
repair and otherwise improve said portion of said road as to
said council may seem best: provided that this act shall be
suhject to the provisions of the general law in regard to
abandoned turnpikes?

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
