Chap. 166.—An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 11 and 12 of chap-
ter 128 of the Code of Virginia, 1873, providing for recordation of
fiduciary accounts.
Approved March 20, 1877.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That sections
eleven and twelve of chapter one hundred and twenty-eight
of the Code of cighteen hundred and seventy-three, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§11. When any fiduciary account is settled in a chancery
cause, it shall be the duty of the clerk of the court in which
said cause is, as soon as said account is confirmed by the
court, to certify for record to the clerk of the court wherein
such fiduciary qualified, the fact that the account of such
fiduciary (giving the style of suit and the date of confirma-
tion of said account) has been settled.
§ 12. For such services, the clerk shall be entitled to the
fees now prescribed by law for recording accounts, and so
forth. chargeable to the fiduciary.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
