Chap. 135.—An ACT prescribing the width of roads in Wythe county.
Approved March 8, 1877.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the second
section of chapter one hundred and eighty-one of the Acts
of Assembly of eighteen hundred and seventy-four and five,
shall not apply to the roads in the county of Wythe, but the
roads of said county shall be maintained a uniform width of
twenty feet: provided, that this act shall not be construed to
interfere with the power of the county courts to prescribe a
less width in establishing a new road whenever, in its discre-
tion, it is deemed necessary.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. @
